Convert MKV to DNxHD for Avid Media Composer 5/6/7

How to Convert MKV to Avid Media Composer editable format

Step 1. Import MKV videos to the software

Click "Add Video" button (or "Add from folder") to load MKV source files. Or just drag&drop your MKV videos into the MKV converter.

Step 2. Choose an output format

Click "Format" drop-down bar to select a proper video format. To edit MKV videos in Avid, "Avid Media Composer" > Avid DHxHD (*.mov)" is the suitable one.
