Setting up your Plex Media Server with a NAS should only take a few minutes. Plex Media Server lets you store all your media including movies, photos, music in the NAS, and allowing you to enjoy them on your devices including your Smartphone, tablet, HDTV via most media streaming devices (e.g. Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, Fire TV).
I was looking to get a decent NAS and possibly moving the PLEX to that. I was looking at the Synology or the QNAP. Is there a big difference between those? Is there a a comparable Qnap model? Is there a way to backup my Blu-ray or DVD movies to NAS? |
